AAC Seminar - 2010 Planning in bush fire areas - 30 June
Recent bush fire events in Victoria and the subsequent Royal Commission have reinforced the need for stringent planning in bush fire prone areas.

This session provides

This session will help you understand the development assessment process and application of bush fire protection measures.

The session will also cover changes that came into effect with Planning for Bushfire Protection 2010 and AS3959 - 2009 in May 2010, including the RFS addendum to Planning for Bush Fire Protection 2006 (PBP) which replaced the existing Appendix 3. The addendum aligns PBP Appendix 3 with the BCA DTS separation distance requirements for the Bushfire Attack Levels (BAL) of AS3959-2009. It also maintains ember protection consistent with current requirements.

This seminar will be interactive and informative that will cover these topics and any other issues raised by the seminar audience in order to achieve a safer community.
